Kids Modelling Portfolio Photography in Sydney
If your child has been scouted, is already with an agency, or you're thinking about approaching one, the first thing they'll ask for is a portfolio. And not just any photos. Agencies are looking for specific things: clean headshots, natural expressions, personality coming through and images that show range.
That's exactly what this session is designed to deliver.
I've worked with Sydney modelling agencies and I know what they're looking for. This isn't a standard portrait session with pretty photos that look nice on the wall. Every image we create is shot with a portfolio brief in mind, the kind of images that give an agency what they need to assess your child properly and start putting them forward for work.
Who this session is for
This session is perfect for children from around six months old (as soon as they're sitting up) right through to teenagers.
It works for:
Kids who are brand new to modelling and need a portfolio to approach an agency for the first time. Kids who are already signed and need fresh images that reflect how much they've grown and changed. Kids who are working in the industry and need updated portfolio images or new content for social media.
What to expect
The session runs for 45 minutes at my Gordon studio on Sydney's North Shore.
We'll work through two to three outfit changes, and I'll guide you on what to bring and how to style each look before you arrive so nothing is left to chance on the day.
I work with children every single day. From babies who've just found their sitting balance to teenagers with strong opinions about everything. Getting natural, genuine expressions out of kids in front of a camera is what I do, and a relaxed child always photographs better than a performing one.
Within a week of your session you'll have an online viewing session to select your final images, with two retouched high-resolution files included and additional images available if you want more.
