STEP BY STEP GUIDE
TO BOOKING YOUR FAMILY’S SESSION
WE ARE SUPER EXCITED TO MEET & CAPTURE YOUR FAMILY!
A little about about us: we are located at Gordon, on Sydney's North Shore. Our studio space has been designed to emulate a natural, homely setting including our amazing huge arched windows, a fireplace, a bed and seating where your children and family members will feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. We have a range of stunning props that we can incorporate as part of your session. Our beautifully light controlled environment has been arranged to create timeless, yet modern black & white portraits and stunning colour portraits. It is a super pet-friendly environment, we welcome any kind of pets for your session.
We photograph babies, kids, families, and pets & create beautiful artwork for your family to have forever.

Most families have never had a photo session before, so this step by step guide can help you with getting your session booked in.
Book your session time
Family sessions are photographed Tuesday-Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.
You can use our online calendar at the bottom of this page to select the type of session you would like and then a time to suit your family.
We are typically booked out on weekends 2-3 weeks in advance.
Newborn session are only available weekdays as we allow extra time for feeding & settling your new baby,
What’s included
Our session fee is $200. This covers your photographers time & talent & $100 credit towards products from your session.
Please note the session fee does not include digital files.
Most families spend between $1000-$3000. We include the digital files for any images ordered framed for the wall & we also have digital file packages available.
PLANNING
Once you’ve selected your session time, we will send you a confirmation email which contains all the details you’ll need to prepare for your session.
It contains our what to wear guide which will help you with choosing the best outfits for your session.

We are typically booked out on weekends 2-3 weeks in advance, so if you are looking for a weekend session we recommend booking in asap |
| Step 2 - Confirmation for your session |
| If you chose a weekend date we will send you a link to pay the weekend holding deposit. This is credited towards prints from your session.
We will then send you a confirmation email with our what to wear guide, how to prepare for your session & our full pricing information |
| Step 3 - Your photography session |
| You will come to our studio at Gordon for a one hour session. We aim to make the session super fun.
Your kids get to jump our bed, play in the studio, and you get to watch them enjoy themselves while we capture some amazing memories for you.
The best thing to remember is that our studio is a rule free zone, we want the kids to be themselves. |
| Step 4 - Ordering appointment |
| At the end of your session, we will make a time for you to come back in the studio to view and order your photos
We ask that any decision makers are present for this appointment. This is the time for you to decide on what you would like to order.
We will show you between 30-50 photos on a large TV & help you to select your favourites to display in the way that best suits your home. |
| Step 5 - Collect your photos |
| Your photos will be ready within 2-4 weeks We will arrange a time for you to come back to the studio to collect or we can arrange to courier them to you. You get to take beautiful artwork home with you to be treasured forever. |

there are no additional costs for more family members (including our furry family members)
pets are not only welcomed, they are encouraged in the studio. We want to include them as part of your family session, they are family members too
