PROFESSIONAL FAMILY AND PET PHOTOGRAPHY SYDNEY
Your family deserves to be in the photos too
You've been meaning to do this for ages. Between school runs, work, the dog and everything else, finding the time to organise family photos keeps sliding down the list. But your kids are growing fast and you know you'll regret it if you don't do it now.
I get it. I'm a mum of three (Felix, Max and Millie) and I know what it takes to get everyone out the door. That's why I've made the whole experience as easy as possible. You show up. I handle the rest.
I don't spend hours posing you. I don't stress when your kids won't sit still. And when your dog does something ridiculous in the middle of the session, I just keep going. That's usually when the best photos happen.
What you'll get are real photos of your real family. Not stiff poses with forced smiles. Photos that capture the way your kids actually look at each other, the way your dog pushes into every cuddle and the way your family feels right now. Photos you'll be proud to hang on your wall and grateful to have in twenty years.
WHY CHOOSE ÜBER PHOTOGRAPHY?
Your dog is part of the family portrait, not an afterthought. Most photographers tolerate dogs. I welcome them. My Gordon studio is fully contained so your dog can be off the lead, relaxed and right in the middle of the action where they belong. I'm a dachshund mum myself, so I know how to work with dogs and get them to settle.
23 years and over 2,500 families. I've been doing this since 2004. I know how to wrangle toddlers, coax teenagers and get your husband to actually relax. So many of my families come back year after year to update their photos as their kids grow.
No awkward posing. I photograph your family as you actually are. The real expressions, the chaos, the cuddles. Not stiff smiles and rigid poses. That's why my photos still feel like your family when you look at them in twenty years.
Everything happens in the studio. You come to my Gordon studio on Sydney's North Shore for your session and you come back to view and choose your photos in person. I sit with you, help you choose the right sizes for your walls and make sure you end up with exactly what you want. No online galleries, no overwhelming choices at home on your own.
Award winning photography. I'm an AIPP awarded family photographer and former NSW AIPP President. But what matters more is that your photos are beautiful and real.
Payment plans available. From $200 per month at no extra cost, so you can order what you love without compromise.

Yes. You can purchase digital files on their own, but most of my families choose to invest in wall art and then add digital files as extras.
If you purchase a piece of wall art, I'll include the digital file of that photo as a bonus.

Item descrRelaxed. That's the word my clients use the most. I'll guide you through everything from what to wear to how the session runs, so you don't need to worry about a thing.
On the day, there's no rigid posing. I let your kids play, your dog do their thing and your family just be themselves. My job is to make it easy for you and capture the real moments in between.
-
Absolutely. Dogs are welcome at every session. My Gordon studio is fully contained so your dog can be off the lead and free to roam around and settle in at their own pace. I'm a dachshund mum myself so I know how to work with dogs and I genuinely love having them in the studio. Your dog is part of your family and they belong in the photos.

I'll send you everything you need after you book, including my What to Wear guide and a short questionnaire so I can get to know your family before you arrive. On the day, the best thing you can do is come as you are. Fed, rested kids help, but even if the morning has been a disaster, we'll make it work. I've had families arrive frazzled and leave saying it was the most relaxed hour of their week.
-
Life happens. If you need to move your session, just get in touch and I'll find another time that works for your family. I'd rather you come on a day when everyone is feeling good than push through when the timing isn't right.

Most of my clients say this before their session. Especially the husbands. After 23 years I've worked with thousands of camera shy families and I promise you, by ten minutes in you'll have forgotten the camera is there. I'll guide you the whole way.
There's no awkward posing, no standing still and smiling on command.
You'll be playing with your kids, cuddling on the bed, laughing at your dog. That's when the best photos happen.
-
Absolutely. At your ordering appointment I'll sit with you and help you work out exactly what suits your home.
Whether it's a statement piece for the hallway or a collection of frames for the living room, I'll guide you on sizes, finishes and layouts so you end up with something you love on your walls.
-
Yes. All my framing is custom done for each client. I have a professional framer who collects and delivers weekly, so your portraits arrive ready to hang.
At your ordering appointment I'll help you choose the right frame style and size to suit your home. You don't need to organise anything yourself.
-
Once you've booked your session, I'll send you my What to Wear guide with everything you need to know. The short version: keep it simple, stick to neutral or coordinating tones and avoid big logos or busy patterns.
The focus should be on your family, not your outfits. If you're unsure, send me a photo of what you're thinking and I'll give you honest feedback before the day.

After 23 years and over 2,500 families, I've seen it all. Tantrums, tears, toddlers who want to run and teenagers who don't want to be there.
I work with whatever your kids give me and some of the best photos come from the moments in between the chaos. You don't need to worry about keeping them still or making them smile. That's my job.
-
Yes. My studio and outdoor location in Pymble are both great for bigger groups. Whether it's grandparents, aunts, uncles and all the cousins or a multigenerational portrait with three or four generations, I'll make sure everyone is included. These sessions are often the only time the whole family is in one photo together, so they're always worth doing.
