we are looking for kids aged 3-15 to star in a limited edition book called “Sydney Kids”
In our Sydney Kids project, we aim to celebrate every aspect of your child’s uniqueness: their interests, talents, dreams & personalities.
Whether they are dancers, artists, musicians, or simply love being in front of the camera, we provide a personalized experience that allows them to shine.
Imagine captivating smiles, infectious laughter, and genuine expressions, captured in a series of stunning images that you will treasure forever.

Why are we doing the project?

When my kids were younger each had their own special interest.
I had one who was into computer games, one who was into sport and one who was into tutus.
Even though they were all from the same family they were all unique stories waiting to be told.
Sydney Kids is not just any photography book project; it's a love letter to childhood captured by über photography, one of Australia's most awarded and experienced family photography studios.

We believe that every child is a story waiting to be told through beautiful creative portraits.
This is your chance to have a timeless keepsake that celebrates your child's unique personality, interests, and all the little quirks that make them who they are. We want to bring out your child’s individuality and create a book that celebrates the kids of 2020s.
We are looking for 50 kids aged between 3-15.
Once all the sessions are complete, we'll curate a stunning hardcover coffee table book called Sydney Kids.
Each child will have a favorite photo displayed alongside a handwritten note about them at this age.
It will become a cherished heirloom, a reminder of this special time in their lives, and a glimpse into the story of kids living in Sydney in 2024.

There are limited spots available.
Once the pages of the book are filled, applications will close.

we'll capture updated family photos too.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

✔︎ Session of up to 60 minutes with our photographer Kate
✔︎a double page spread in our Sydney Kids book, including a fun questionnaire and a favourite image of your child
✔︎ a copy of the Sydney’s Kids book (Valued at $100)
✔︎ an appointment 1 week after your session to be able to view and order your photos. We have some exclusive packages available for the project.
✔︎ the opportunity to update your family photos

What’s the cost?

The cost is $75 per child. This covers your child’s session and your copy of the Sydney Kids book
Siblings can be included for an additional $25 each. (must be part of the same family). This includes their own double page spread in the book.
After your session you will have the opportunity to purchase prints and packages and exclusive upgrades.

The sessions will be photographed Tuesday-Saturday between 9am-5pm in our studio at Gordon, in Sydney's north.
