WHY THE LITTLE LORDS & LADIES PROJECT?
I’ve always loved the classic English style and I was super excited to discover the Little Lord and Lady clothing label. It's a British children’s clothing brand inspired by traditional British style and culture. Their designs are unique & quirk with lashings of British style, allowing for your child’s personality to shine through.
Picture them having tea parties with our bunnies, Winnie the Pooh and Paddington. Playing Mary Poppins, or knights and castles, or playing with vintage airplanes. Or riding on our vintage bicycle and our classic English rocking horse, Rupert. So cute!
We are all busy parents and when we are caught up in the every day life of little kids, it’s really hard to take the time to see how sweet & perfect they are at this age. Our sets are custom designed so they can play and have fun, so that we capture beautiful, natural photos of them.
WHY THE STARLIGHT CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION?
My childhood’s friend Cass’s baby boy Hugh was diagnosed with leukemia aged just 1. Their family with their 2 older boys, spent 2 years in and out of Westmead Children’s Hospital. Hugh battle was a tough one, they almost lost him a number of times, and he was only saved by a bone marrow transplant.
Starlight was there to support them, & bring some laughter to such a difficult time in their lives. They have both the Starlight room & the amazing Captain Starlights, who made Hugh’s days in hospital a little bit brighter.
Hugh’s story has an happy ending. He is now in remission, and is a healthy little boy enjoying life to the fullest.
