Your phone is full of photos of your dog. Hundreds of them. Maybe thousands. Blurry ones from the park, sneaky ones while they're sleeping, that one from the beach you keep going back to.
But there's not a single beautiful photo of the two of you together. Not one that captures the way they look at you. The way you are when it's just you and them.
You've thought about getting it done properly. You just haven't found the right person. Someone who actually gets it. Someone who doesn't think a photo of you and your dog is less important than a family portrait.
It's not less important. And I'd love to photograph it.

Pre-session consultation
I'll call you before your session so I can learn about your dog, their personality and what makes your bond special. This means I'm ready for them before they even walk through the door.
Studio session with me
A relaxed session in my custom-designed studio at Gordon. No rushing. Your dog gets time to sniff, explore and settle in. I work with whatever they give me.
Dogs set the pace
I've been including dogs in portrait sessions for 23 years. Anxious dogs, bouncy dogs, stubborn dogs. I've seen it all and I love every single one of them.
Viewing and ordering session
You'll come back to view your images and choose exactly what you'd like. Printed artwork, digital files, albums. You only choose what you love. No pressure, no obligation.
Included in the book
Your portrait will be featured in our My Fur Baby & Me printed book. A beautiful collection of people and their dogs, and the stories behind the bond.
$50 donated to charity
Your $50 participation donation goes directly to Sydney Dogs & Cats Home, helping dogs find their forever families. You're getting something beautiful and doing something good.

Why I created this project
Because I know what that bond feels like
A few years ago I went through a divorce. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through. And the one who got me through it, every single day, was my dachshund Lollie.
She was there every night. She didn't leave. She didn't judge. She just curled up next to me and stayed.
That bond changed me. It made me realise that for so many of us, our dog isn't just a pet. They're the reason we get up in the morning. They're the one who's always happy to see us. They're family.
I've been a photographer for 23 years and I've included dogs in family sessions for as long as I can remember. But I wanted to create something that puts that bond front and centre. Not the dog as an add-on. The dog as the whole point.
That's what this project is.

Let me put your mind at ease
"My dog won't behave"
Good. I don't want them to behave. I want them to be themselves. I've photographed anxious dogs, hyper dogs, stubborn dogs and dogs who just want to sniff everything in the studio. I work with whatever your dog gives me. There's no rushing and no stress.
"I'll look awkward in photos"
You won't. I promise. When your dog is with you, you relax. You smile. You're yourself. I don't do stiff posing. I photograph the way you actually are together, and that's always beautiful.
"Is this a bit much?"
No. Your dog carried you through hard times, or makes your family complete, or is the best part of every single day. That relationship deserves a proper portrait. Not a phone snap. A real, beautiful photo on the wall.
"What will it actually cost?"
The $50 donation covers your session and your spot in the book. Photos are purchased separately at your viewing session. Prints start at $95 and I have flexible payment plans at no extra cost. No credit checks. You only buy what you love.

You're welcome to include your whole family at no additional cost. The portrait featured in the book will be of you (or your family) with your dog.
Tell me about it during the consultation and I'll be ready. I give every dog time to settle and explore the studio before we start. There's no rushing, no loud noises and no pressure. I've worked with nervous dogs many times and they almost always surprise their owners.
