WHY are we doing THE VINTAGE KIDS PROJECT?
I’m Kate, the Owner of über photography. As a mum to now adult kids, I get a little nostalgic when I think about the memories of their childhoods.
My two sons were constant collaborators in creating mischief; always climbing, running, breaking and banging something. It felt like they never sat still.
My daughter was the sweetest little princess, so cute and sweet, such a contrast to my energetic boys.
Our kids are little for such a short time, and capturing them when they is a way to treasure those moments forever.
I believe photography session should be fun, being comfortable whilst having an amazing experience. I produce beautiful photos that our clients tell us, they hang proudly on their walls, as they truly capture the essence of their kids.
WHY are we supporting the STARLIGHT CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION?
My childhood friend Cass’s baby boy Hugh was diagnosed with leukemia aged just 1. Their family with their 2 older boys, spent 2 years in and out of Westmead Children’s Hospital. Hugh's battle was a tough one, they almost lost him a number of times, and he was only saved by a bone marrow transplant.
Starlight was there to support them & bring some laughter to such a difficult time in their lives.
They have both the Starlight room & the amazing Captain Starlights, who made Hugh’s days in hospital a little bit brighter.
Thankfully Hugh’s story has a happy ending. He is now in remission and is a healthy little boy enjoying life to the fullest.
Some kind words from past clients
”I can not recommend Kate and Mandy enough. The whole process was fun, easy and professional. Hollie stills talks about “the nice ladies with the bubbles” and asks to come back and play. Hollie was quite shy at first but both Kate and Mandy made her feel like a true princess and she soon became comfortable and Kate got some beautiful shots. The photographs I received of my daughter are absolutely stunning and I cannot thank them enough for capturing the many faces and moods of my cheeky toddler. We have received so many comments on how gorgeous the photos are from family and friends.” Melinda Hogan
”We had a great experience at über photography. Kate and Mandy were both lovely and professional. We had great communication before and after the session. We were worried about our little girl being shy with strangers, and concerned about how the photos will turn out. The photos turned out great!! Again this just demonstrates how professional and experienced Kate is in this field! Highly recommended!” Helen Zhang
”Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. So delighted with the photos of our little ones which captured their personalities and close relationship they have with each other. Only problem we had was choosing which photos! Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever!” Pia Tolentino
