During October 2019, we are looking for Pets & their Families
to be photographed for an upcoming book called “FAMILY TAILS… A Celebration of Families and their Pets”
The book will be a fundraiser for the the RSPCA. www.rspca.org.au and will be a celebration of loyalty and love, and to recognize the amazing contribution pets make into the lives of families.
Your $51 per family participation fee, will be forwarded in full to the RSPCA.
Our target is to raise $10,000 for the charity.

(your photoshoot can take place anytime between now & the end of DECEMBER 2019

So how do we participate in the project?
1) Click on the link below to register your interest in being part of the project
2) We will email you our calendar so we can select a date to suit your family
3) We will send you an email with info on how to prepare for your session, what to bring with you and what to wear
4) You will have a fun relaxed family session in our studio at Gordon, where we will capture a range of images of your family with your pets
5) You will come back into the studio to view your photos. There is no obligation to purchase photos, but we know you will love them and want to display them in your home.This will be your opportunity to purchase photos of your family and you can help us chose the image that will be featured in the exhibition.
PLEASE NOTE ; The photography session can be anytime up until the end of December but you must register before the end of July.
What is National Family Portrait Month? National Family Pet Portrait Month is in the month of October 2019 and is a national fundraising effort to help raise $10,000 for the RSPCA.
What is in it for the customer? In addition to helping raise much needed funds for RSPCA, and have a priceless portrait taken, you will also have the opportunity to purchase photographs from their photography session.
Can I have all the family photographed? Yes! Partners, Grandparents, and even the Pets can be photographed at the same time at no extra cost so you can take full advantage of the photography session. (The image that appears in the book, however, will of course be of people with pets.)
What month is it held? Annually, during October, for a $51 participation fee, all of which will be forwarded to RSPCA, families with their pets have a great opportunity of having a professional portrait taken that will appear in an inspirational book, called “FAMILY TAILS… A Celebration of Families and their Pets”
Who are the photographers? Photographers around Australia have come together by making a their own donation to help raise funds for the charity, and are also donating their time and talent for the cause.
Can I purchase photographs? Yes, of course the photographer will give you the opportunity to purchase photographs.
Will my photograph be in the book? Yes all those who pay their participation fee and are photographed, will be in the book.
Do I get to choose the photograph for the book? Our graphic designer will choose all the photographs in the book to ensure that the design is balanced.
When will the book be published? We hope to have the books published by March 2020.
How much will the book cost? The price of the book will depend on total number of books ordered, but will be around $85.
Where can I buy the book? The book may be purchased online, or from participating photographers.
