Loved capturing these family portraits for this couple and their three kids! Such a beautiful family!
It was a pleasure to shoot this family again after four years! Love capturing how these kids have grown up!
These three had a ball of fun on our latest shoot! We loved being able to capture that fun-loving sibling dynamic!
Loved shooting this family for our latest Families on the Couch Project. We had a ball of fun, here's some favourites from the shoot!
We had a lot of fun photographing 80 little girls for our Little Ballerinas project and we were very excited to be able to present the cheque for $4000 to the Starlight Children's Project that we raised through the project.
We have some exciting new projects coming up in 2018, so keep your eyes open for announcements in the New Year..
Loved photographing the beautiful Phoebe and her passion for ballet!
This family was referred to me by a friend as they were looking to update their family portraits.
My approach to photographing kids is to let them have fun during a session. The photos then capture their personalities.
These images capture these 3 kids perfectly, their energy, their cheekiness and their love for their mum and dad.
I had a lot of fun capturing these sisters with their dog. I love it when kids relax with me and let me capture the real moments.
This little girl was one of the happiest I have ever photographed. She smiled and laughed throughout her entire session :)
I love capturing babies at 6 mths of ages. They are just so full of smiles, and at the sweetest stage, and it is lovely to have this time captured in photos forever.
Scruffy is 12, James is 10 and Matty is 6. Scruffy came to the family first and the boys think he is the older brother, he thinks they are noisy, but as long as he gets his walkies and bed time on Matty's bed, he is a happy hound..
Alfie, caboodle + James 1
Alfie is James' best friend, he gets the first hug out of any of us in the morning! I think the feeling is mutual... most of the time!
It was a pleasure to meet this family. Mum had been wanting to have a family session for a long time, so she was super excited when they won a silent auction for a family session and her daughter's school. The chose their family photo as a large print for their wall, and a series of smaller images for a wall gallery. They are going to look amazing on their walls.
It was a pleasure to capture this family, the little boy was such a smiley happy baby
Lillian 3 years
Beautiful, loveable, smart cookie and talkative
Lillian started ballet lessons for her 2nd birthday in a Mummy and Me class. She loves to choose between her pink and blue tutus for each class! She was quick to learn first position and pirouettes are her favourite!
It was a pleasure to capture this family recently. They drove all the way from the Central Coast from their session, as they wanted the clean studio look. I love it when clients really love my work, and understand what I am trying to capture.
These images are going to look amazing hanging on their walls :)
This family was gifted a session by their parents, and they were very excited to be able to update their photos. The session was a lot of fun, with the kids giggling the whole way through, and having a lot of fun playing on the bed in our studio.
These boys bought their mum a gift voucher for a photography session for her birthday, as they had been wanting her to update a family photo that was on her wall that had been there for a very long time and was a bit embarassing :) They made their session a lot of fun with mucking around and having a lot of laughs.
Sunny, mixed breed + Evie, Xavier and Paddy
Our kids just adore Sunny, they ask where she is as soon as they wake up and she's the first one they want to see when we get home. She is playful but extremely lazy and she loves to plop herself down in the middle of their game. They like to check ok her when she is sleeping and they are sure to tiptoe and whisper so as not to wake her. They all love to train her and they make sure to tell her she's a good girl.
The number of photos we take during a session ranges widely, depending on who is being photographed and how well everyone warms to the camera.
We aim to show people between 30-50 photos from their session. This means that we are able to show a great variety of images, but we also don't want you to feel overwhelmed with the number of images that we show you.
When we are selecting what to show you we delete any with bad expressions or closed eyes first. Then we go through the rest to pick the best expressions. We believe that the photographer who photographed your session should also be the person choosing the photos you will be shown, as they will have watched your family and have a good idea of what are their natural expressions.
Some photographers will promise to deliver 200 images. This can end up being confusing for you. If you choose to take the digital files of all of these how will you then select what you will display? If you are going to choose a few favourites to go on the wall, its going to be a hard process to get this down to a few favourites.
We always advise people, when you are looking for a photographer for your family, rather than focusing on how many photos they photographer will deliver, focus on looking at the images, and making sure that what they are creating is really what you imagine cvapturing of your fmaily.
