Family photographer Sydney

It was a pleasure to meet this family. Mum had been wanting to have a family session for a long time, so she was super excited when they won a silent auction for a family session and her daughter's school. The chose their family photo as a large print for their wall, and a series of smaller images for a wall gallery. They are going to look amazing on their walls.

Sunny, mixed breed + Evie, Xavier and Paddy

Our kids just adore Sunny, they ask where she is as soon as they wake up and she's the first one they want to see when we get home. She is playful but extremely lazy and she loves to plop herself down in the middle of their game. They like to check ok her when she is sleeping and they are sure to tiptoe and whisper so as not to wake her. They all love to train her and they make sure to tell her she's a good girl.

How many photos will I see from my family's photography session?

The number of photos we take during a session ranges widely, depending on who is being photographed and how well everyone warms to the camera.

We aim to show people between 30-50 photos from their session. This means that we are able to show a great variety of images, but we also don't want you to feel overwhelmed with the number of images that we show you.

When we are selecting what to show you we delete any with bad expressions or closed eyes first. Then we go through the rest to pick the best expressions. We believe that the photographer who photographed your session should also be the person choosing the photos you will be shown, as they will have watched your family and have a good idea of what are their natural expressions.

Some photographers will promise to deliver 200 images. This can end up being confusing for you. If you choose to take the digital files of all of these how will you then select what you will display? If you are going to choose a few favourites to go on the wall, its going to be a hard process to get this down to a few favourites.

We always advise people, when you are looking for a photographer for your family, rather than focusing on how many photos they photographer will deliver, focus on looking at the images, and making sure that what they are creating is really what you imagine cvapturing of your fmaily.

Oscar, cavoodle + Alex, Lara and Luca

Oscar has been like a 4th child ever since we got him 3 years ago. The kids call oscar their Brother. He comes in on his bean bag at night to watch television and the kids lie with him while he is snoring. Oscar just licks the kids to death. He is so cuddly and wants to be with the kids all the time. Our youngest Luca just rumbles around with him like he is another brother. We often call Oscar - Luca and Luca we call Oscar sometimes

Classic family photography Sydney

We love being able to create classic, beautiful family photos they will look amazing on our clients walls for many years to come.

This family has had regular photos done with their children over the years, but the last family photo they had was when their kids were very young. Mum loved the idea of having a new photo to hang next to the other one, showing how much her kids have grown.

Everyone always tells you your kids will grow up way too quickly. When they are little that somehow doesn't seem real, but when they get to teenagers the time just seems to fly by. These 3 kids are all close to leaving home, so for this mum it was the perfect time to capture them altogether.

Dogs and Kids photography Sydney

Trigger + Winters and Riley 3

When we adopted the dogs last year, they were a bit put off by Riley's enthusiasm to sit on them & hug them all the time - our old lab Phoebe was happy to be crawled all over. Now they love him as much as he loves them. Winters goes into Riley's room of a morning & cries until he wakes up. Riley is never upset with him for doing it - he just says he loves me & misses me so much! They are super cute.

Dozer is 3 yrs and huge part of our lives. The kids adore him and especially my middle son who kicks the footy with him and often sneaks him into bed. He is a beautiful dog that turns heads wherever he gives with his stunning pale blue eyes and king friendly nature. Dozer loves his kids and people and loves to be where ever the action is .

Ollie, beaglier + Charlie 3

Ollie (nearly 5yrs) is Charlie's big brother. Ollie has been there from the beginning & is the most tolerant gentle loving dog. Charlie is a very boisterous energetic boy. They play together, chase each other cuddle up. They are that close that as Charlie was growing up i often wondered if he thought he was a dog. He copied everything Ollie did. Fetched sticks in his mouth, rolled on the grass, drank from his water bowl, still wants to eat dog food. When Charlie had his first Solids meal Ollie was the first in to lick his face clean! They have a beautiful bond. I love the sound of Charlie giggling when they play together.

Lucy, golden labrador + Hamish 13, Lachie 12 and Tom 10

My boys just LOVE our Lucy, and she is the first person who is greeted in the morning and the last one to say good night too!
The excitement of when the boys arrive home from school and she knows each of them by name... and is adored by all. Lucy is definitely the 4th child in our family.
As our boys say, "When Lucy arrived in our family she made our house a home".
